Render/Export Image as colour with Shadows

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to create images as the attached?

I want to show shadows but I also want to keep the colours. I have everything coloured how I need it but don't know how to export with the shadows. I can render it but I'd lose the colour overrides.

I'm not sure if this has been done in Revit or Navisworks.

Create the 3D view with colours as desired.
Turn on the Shadows (maybe play with the settings in your Graphic Display Options with regards to Depth of the Shadow, direction etc)

I know how to export images. How do I turn shadows on, it is greyed out in my 3D view atm?

I got it, if there is a View Template assigned to a view it won't allow Shadows. I've removed the template and I can edit it fine.

Or, if appropriate, change the shadow setting in the view template.
