Click the tag and uncheck "Leader Shoulder"

Before starting to tag an elevation, uncheck "Leader" and you won't have to worry about it at all.

      Hi billytsoi
      ,

You need to click on the spot elevation, then in the properties palette there is a box called "Leader" which If selected make that the spot elevation includes a leader line. When not selected, no leader line displays and there is other one box called "Leader Shoulder" which adds a shoulder to the leader line, that normally should hide the Leader line, HTH
