    Rotated, positionable tag / annotation

    Is anyone aware of a way to have positionable text aligned with a non-orthogonal line?



    Thought my nested DC was "dumb" and the shared parameter tag was the "revit-right" way to do it....guess not.
    I'd like to be able to reposition the annotation to avoid overlapping text issues. I can add a parameter to scoot the nested DC left or right (and another for up and down maybe)...

    Can't you just check the "rotate with component" option in the family editor?

      Well, yes...but it has no effect for detail components (See: http://revitoped.blogspot.com/2013/0...onent.html?m=1 thanks steve)
