Revit Extension Error message

I recently unistalled some revit extensions and I get the following message

I checked the 'do not show me this message again' box but it still shows every time I launch revit.
Where am i supposed to make the changes necessary to remove this message?

Did you get updates? What extension do you have installed? Do they work all fine?

I innstalled the extensions that came with the subscription advantage pack (I think that's the name) but i uninstalled the extensions. I have also an extension called REVVED I think it changes the text to all CAPS and also Merges Text. That extension works fine but the message always shows up and I think its because I uninstalled the other extensions

You should check your Addin-directory. What OS are you running?
I think the problem is that the dll- or addin-files are still there whilst the program itself is deleted. I think if you go to the Addin-directory and manually delete those files this should end the messages.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium, I tried finding the add ins folder and found an empty one with a 2011 folder in it (also empty)
it was in C:\Users\Juan Carlos Moreno\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2011

Have you looked in the Revit.ini file ? I know that Revit 2011 has improved the add-in registration facility using add-in manifest files, but from my understanding, developers can still choose to use the revit.ini

If there´s no sign in the .ini file, maybe the below blog post by Ryan Duell can help ?

Disable Add-Ins for Revit 2011 Products
There may be an occasion where you want to test Revit 2011 with add-ins disabled.

By default in Revit 2011 products the Add-Ins components have been moved from the Revit.ini file to a separate location. While you can still utilize the Revit.ini for this release, the default location is now listed below.

If you want to test Revit with all add-ins disabled [or selectively disable add-ins] follow the steps below:

1. Close Revit 2011

2. Locate the following folder:

Windows Vista \ Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2011
Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\REVIT\Addins\2011

3. Temporarily move the add-in files from the folder above to another location.

4. Launch Revit 2011; add-ins will be disabled.

When testing is complete you can move the add-in files back into the original folder.

Thanks Munkholm! This was exactly what I needed. I was looking in the wrong folder for the extension file. I deleted the file from :
Windows Vista \ Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2011
and everything is back to normal. No more annoying Message
