    Sections, Detail Components & Rebar

    Dumb question -

I'm working through some drawings for a small monument sign (CMU & Brick) and have added in the rebar, cut my section, and added in the Detail Components. Sounds great, except that the DC have masking regions in them to mask the wall pattern in the center of the CMU and account for areas that are grouted solid, which in-turn masks the rebar... Is there some trick to get the rebar to the front (other than stacking views) in situations like this or am I going about things in a backwards manner?

I took the mask out (vis parameter) of my CMU's a long time ago. Also serves as a nice check, if someone puts the DC on a non masonry wall.

Sent from my Phablet. Please excuse typos... and bad ideas.

The only mask / pattern I have in the CMU is the infill for a solid grout and a mask in the middle of the block (there is one on a switch for use in drafting views.) It is the mask in the center of the block that is the blocking out the rebar. it isn't the end of the world to add rebar DC in but it seems stupid to have to add the DC when the rebar is already there...
