That is good to know thanks Aaron. I know you are the door master.

You do NOT need to load them all in the Parent Family, if they are set to Shared. And for Door Panels and Frames, they should DEFINITELY be set to Shared.

    Family Type Catalogue Drop Down

Is it possible to have a type catalogue with selectable type/instance parameters?

I have a door family which I want to use a catalogue for to be able to make up doors when loaded into a project. I'd like to be able to pick a leaf and frame type for each door when loading it in.

Or is the whole point of catalogues that I create a family type for each and every option and then pick the ones needed when loading this into a project?
