Grids. Multiple switch to 2d extents

Is there any way to switch to 2d extents from both ends of a group of grids?
    (or vice versa)
I can only do it one by one

When your (active) crop region crosses grids/ levels they are automatically changed to 2D extents.

      Thanks.
      I was expecting a "NO"
      I have learned something new
And upside down? (from "2d extents" to "3d extents")

        uncrop the view

when setting up a project set all grids and levels' 3D extents first, then all your views when cropped should look ok

            Since we are in this.
Where is the distance between the bubble and the crop line controlled?
(Or is fixed something like the speed of light)

No idea. I think thats some hidden default value. Mine look like about an inch when placed on sheets.
