    hello
i've got a problem and i don't know why : i've got a draft on my darft list but i can't see any sheet with this number... only the number exists, the sheet hans't got any name or else and i don't know xhere i can find it!
It's not very annoying but i would like to know why and delete this sheet.
    thanks

How did you manage to do that then? Do you have a filter (For no sheet name) in your project browser settings?

You can probably find and delete it with dynamo.

This may have been created in the schedule itself via the "Insert Data Row" command. This creates a Sheet Placeholder. While in the schedule, click "New Sheet" and see if it exists in the second textual box named "Select Placeholder Sheets".

If that's not it, I'm at a loss. Hope this helps!

Oh yes that is it. Making a new row in the schedule makes a sheet that doesnt appear in the browser... You can just do delete row
First time I have ever used this function, whats the point in making a sheet without making a sheet?
(Why use a simple solution when a complicated one will do.. :P)

The original intent of *Placeholder Sheets* (as i understand it) was to be able to fill in Consultants Drawings in your drawing list, without cluttering up your Project Browser full of blank sheets.

The idea falls flat on its face when you realize that Placeholder sheets cannot contain revisions, LOL. Aside from that, its a silly use case (as far as im concerned) anyway, since i want the consultants MODEL to be driving their sheet list. Not some manually entered text.

Having said that, USING Placeholders to make new sheets is much faster:

          1. Click insert data row about fifteen times.
          2. Name/number/set up custom parameters on the Placeholder Sheets.
          3. Click new Sheet ONCE
          4. Select all the placeholders.

No need to switch views and jump through the titleblock selection 15 times.

It depends on where you are getting the sheets from - if you consultants have a Revit model, Great! However, we often have consultants (especially civil & landscape) who use AutoCAD. Our index's don't show revisions, so we add placeholder sheets with their sheet data. It does have to be coordinated, but so does reminding a Revit consultant that they haven't corrected parameter on a sheet for it to be correct in the index.

              PS : hopefully i haven't to use Dynamo which i don't use/know yet
