I am taking on a new responsibility to track licensing and software usage. At the most basic level, which software can help me monitor Microsoft, Adobe and Autodesk licensing? These are our largest software vendor accounts. I am familiar with FlexLM, but am looking for a product that can track software usage that may not have a licensing server. User based licenses (e.g. Tableau), Cloud-based (e.g. Bluebeam), and non-executable plugins (e.g. DLL plugins).
We already own SCCM, and ManageEngine ServiceDesk. Are these good enough? Any comments or suggestions welcomed.
