    Read-only parameter in adaptive panels

Hi all. I'm a student of architecture and i'm developing a facade technology. but when i'm changing the parameter of the angle of the courtain panel related to the sun i get the error that that parameter is read only. Obviously this problem doesn't occur while i'm in the edit family phase but only when i'm loading it in the project. The panels are adapted on a divided surface of the same pattern.

    Any advice?

If you never encountered this common problem already i'll share with you the source code if it is of any help.

    Thank you in advance

Source code? Don't you mean project?

I guess you'll hav eto share because it's really hard to figure out the problem without seeing your setup.

Im guessing you're using an instance based length parameter set to the distance from the sun? If so it makes sense that you cant alter it on the project because it's defined already.
If not, some images or files might help us understand your issue a bit more.

No actually I'm calculating the angle of the elevation with the sun and set it to the rotation parameter of the panel... I'll post something first and then I'll create some files to reproduce the problem. Thank you

Pretty sure that would violate Revit's 20 mile rule
