Can you scale text in views?

We are having an issue creating 1:500 scale drawings because of text. We have some ceiling components that have a text label in them as a code identifier. However we now have to issue 1:500 large scale drawings and the text is huge and makes the drawing unreadable. Is there a way to keep the text the same size as a 1:100 scale for example?

Don't use labels and use tags. I tried to stop using them years ago when they kept showing up on views they were not supposed to show up in.

Text scales along with the scale of the view. If you place a 1:500 view on a sheet next to a 1:100 view, the text will be the same size (relative to the sheet). Creating tags with different size text options will work since you want the scale to be view-specific. If you want the text to always be the same size relative to a model component (or mirror with that component), you can't use "text".
