    Revit 2017 Frustrations..

We have upgraded to 2017 in our office a few months ago and I am really frustrated with with the little "glitches" that seem to show up. For example: My co-worker cannot get his text box to extend beyond the first line. (I have not problem with this.) He is now stretching every text box so the entire note shows up on the first line. Another example of a small frustration turning huge: When I upgraded, my cursor sensitivity skyrocketed. When trying to select an object, the computer read my command as a double click and I was shoved into the family editor. I adjusted the sensitivity back down. This am, I installed the service pack .0.3. My cursor sensitivity is once again sky high. I have exited the family editor at least 12 times today alone. Another issue: when I open Revit, every morning, I have to adjust the middle of the properties palette so the left hand column is actually legible. Why can't that middle divider just stay in the actual middle? I guess I could see making these adjustments after the initial installation, but every time I open Revit??

Individually, they are not bad... makes me think I am missing a simple setting somewhere. But there seems to be several and I have no idea how to fix them. Please advise.

The properties palette issue I ran into as well. It seems very random and luckily it magically went away for now...

I had to also disable the double-click edit.

Are you not on subscription? Revit 2017.2 is the most current I believe.

The double click to edit can be adjusted in options, and I've turned off or changed what most of mine do. The only issue I've had with the palates is not eing able to go strait from the project browser to a a ribbon selection.

After revit crashed earlier today, I answered the "what were you doing at the time of the error?" I was then sent this service pack suggestion: Autodesk Revit 2017.0.3 Security Fixes (117.079 MB)

That's how I got the security fix original (months ago) but later found out it wasn't supposed to go to subscription customers. If you're on subscription I'd see if you can move to the latest version.

I now have the most current update to R17... Thanks for suggesting that. Haven't had any of the frustrations which I mentioned earlier. I realize a couple times every year that I need to be more pro-active in my work system.
