    Anyone using navis for quantities in a civil job?

    Hi everyone,

    I'm working on a civil job modelling terrain in c3d and bridges in revit and bringing it all together in navis.

    Anyone got any tips on extracting quantities/material volumes in navis from the various elements?

    There are also barriers and lightness in the job, so I'd like to get quanta for these as well. At the moment these have been modelled in acad-do I need to remodel that's in revit to get properties reporting from them(cost per item etc)?

      navisworks are like 'post-its' and can only read if these are converted from the source file (metadata). I would go for civil3d to do volume take off. And as far as i know is the only one that can do boolean operations well. Mycent
