    Pipes only show as single lines in 3D model

    I have been working with revit for about a week now for a recent job. the model is already previously drawn by someone that actually knows what theyre doing. lol but I noticed when i put the model in 3D view the pipe lines show up as single lines but the duct and everything else shows up as actual 3D.
    Please help me fix this problem!

    What's your detail level set at? (look at the bottom left corner of the 3d view). I don't do piping at all, but if it's set to "fine" they will show up. I'm sure there's a way to setup a filter so that the pipes show up in 3D without setting the view to "fine".

      To do that you should go into V/G and override the Detail Level to 'fine' and make a view template. You can't control that setting through a filter. Or just set the view to fine detail.

        You can just set Pipes to Fine, in the VG:Model Tab of the view or the view template. Dont need to do the entire view if you dont want.
