    Revit-drawing sheet/table-adding a parameter

    Hi there,
I am trying to update a drawing sheet/table adding a new parameters (address, drawing title etc.) .
When I open the sheet in family .rfa I can see an added parameter. When I load the drawing sheet into the project,my added parameters(labels) are invisible. When I highlight the sheet, there are a question marks.
    What Am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards
    Pete

If you can see them when the sheet is selected but can't edit them they might be shared parameters that you haven't added to the project.

      Thanks for your reply.
How can I add it into the project?
When I choose Edit Family then it becomes visible in Edit Family. Also, in Properties when I go into Label -Edit-Edit Label in Category Parameter there is added and in Label Parameters as well.
      What Am I missing?

In the family select the label, edit it, select the parameter and (assuming it is shared) export it into a shared parameter file. Then, in your project parameters add that same shared parameter, and assign it to the right categories (likly project info or sheets).

The parameters that Peter mentioned are actually system parameters, so if you are using shared parameters you're doing it wrong.

The proper way to add address, sheet title, etc. is to add a label to the titleblock family and populate it with the built-in system parameters that you mentioned.

I suggested shared parameters because if system parameters were used you should be able to select them in the titleblock and fill them out. I agree that the mentioned items sound like ones covered by default parameters.

Thanks for your reply, but I am confused. When I create a drawing table using a label for a scale, then in Family it is visible.
When I load into the project, then a scale disappears. When I edit a family-label etc, it is visible in family and I can not edit export etc.
I do not know, how a label parameter can be visible? I can do other : Project Number etc, but not a scale.
              Any ideas?

              Cheers,
              Pete
