Visibility Control not working in Project

I'm working with some columns built around Paul's Renaissance Revit stuff and in the project environment the pedestal base is not hiding when changing the family type to Without Pedestal, which is controlled by a yes/no switch. In the family editor it works as intended and if I create a new project it works as intended. Any ideas on what broke?

When was the parameter added vs loaded into the project? Have you checked that the y/n parameter is correct in the family in the project? Overriding with parameters can help fix some issues, but can also cause issues.

It was a family parameter so it was only in the family itself. The other functions associated with the parameter worked fine, it was only the visibility. Replacing it with a new y/n parameter made things worse, however creating a copy of the family on the drive (literally copy/paste) and adding the copy to the project seems to have resolved the issue. :banghead:
