    Scope Box problems

    I've got two problems with Scope boxes today.
    First problem is that the Scope Box parameter is grayed out on some of my Views.
    I don't see any difference in the ones that allow a pick from the ones that don't.
    I've tried turning the View Template on and off, checking and unchecking the three View Crop options.
    Nothing I can find make the Scope Box drop-down list accessible.

    Second problem (different project).
    How do Scope Boxes and Project North relate to each other?
    When I assign a Scope Box to one of the Views in this project, it flips it back to True North, even though the original View was Project.
    I guess that makes sense, but what I don't understand is that if I assign the same Scope Box to other Views, they keep their Project North Orientation.
    The View Properties shows a parameter for "Orientation" which can be either Project North or True North. If a Scope Box is assign, it's "by Scope Box".
    So, what orientation is a Scope Box and how do I set/change it?

    I heard back for Autodesk (well, an "Autodesk Elite member") before anyone answered me on RFO !

    Just in case anyone else is searching for this om the future:
    Turns out it was because I had edited the Crop Region. The Crop Region was non-rectangular, and Scope Boxes can be, so it won't allow you to set a Scope Box.

    I guess that's understandable, but it doesn't seem real logical.
    I'm changing how the View is Cropped by setting it to a Scope Box anyway.
    Obviously it's not going to use the old boundary.
    Who cares what it was before I changed it?

            I've run into a situation where even this doesn't "un-grey" the scope box property. I.e. a reset on the Crop region still leaves the scope box property greyed. And changing the crop properties / view range also does nothing to alleviate this.

            What I have found works is to toggle the view's orientation setting. Either from True North to Project North (or visa-versa) and then back again. Following this the scope box property becomes selecatable and once set the Orientation property changes to "By Scope Box" - which isn't a choice in the orientation property.

            This looks like a UX/UI bug. I.e. the code which updates which properties are greyed out does not run when changing crop regions, or it doesn't check the correct settings. It only updates this on some of the settings.
