I often use pads (instead floors) for paths around residential slabs so i can cut the topo with them and it seems fairly clean. On occasion i would have appreciated pads having the ability to place subpoints like floors do, so i could match heights at spots that are otherwise being driven wrongly by a slope arrow needed for the main grade.
My question is, why don't pads have the ability to place points on them? I bet it is logical, i just can't see it at moment.
