    Mouse scroll issue

    Hi all,

I used to have revit 2015, 16 and 17 on my computer but I recently had it formatted. Now that I reinstalled Revit 2017 I have a problem with my mouse scroll. Previously, I used the mouse scroll to zoom the view I was in, and when i wanted to scroll over the project browser or the properties panel I just had to place the cursor over them. Clicking on them was not necessary. Now, if i'm on any plan or view and want to scroll over the properties panel I HAVE to click it to be able to scroll up or down. I know it sounds really dumb but this little change is very annoying.

    Thank you very much.

Like Biff says, this isn't a Revit issue it's a mouse setup issue. For my Logitech mouse I have to go into mouse properties and set the middle button function to Middle Button otherwise I cannot zoom in and out with a roll of the mouse wheel.
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

Found the setting, Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the mouse easier to use. thats in windows 10. Not in the mouse properties. Tell you what though, it's a PIA working with the snipping tool and other tools like that.

The screen is in dutch but you can find it in your windows under mouse.

You need to toggle this ''on'' to scroll inactive windows.
