    Fencing problem



    Hey guys, another question
    I am trying to modiefy a railing into make a fence about 2500..

    I am trynig to have a vertical L 50x50mm every 3m and i dont want a continious top rail... When i set this top rail to No i get error about cant create railings...

    How can i solve this...?

    I am actually trying to do this at the end.. Sorry for the paint drawing

    Before you set Top Rail to No, reassign top constraint for your verticals to host with desired offset. Do the same for posts, if you have them.

      I would wager your balusters are presently set so that their height is defined by a top rail, so removing such stuffs Revit up, change their height to an offset from host then see what happens?

        there is success and thanks a lot...

        Probably everyone was excepting my next question ...
        How i am i gonna do the rest part whitch is about 30- degrees to the outside site of the fence...?

                  Yeap I sort of found this..Thanks!

                  I need to put now 3 continuous straight wires at this 45 degrees part of my post.. witch I did weird enough with Rail structure (Non continuous) by adding 3 times a profile of 1cm wire... hope its not so bad idea though...


                  the next problem is how to make a net wire for the vertical part of my post? ;

                    The same way you would add any horizontal rail - select rail -> edit type -> rail structure-edit -> insert -> choose your profile -> adjust parameters as desired.
