    The Purge

Foregoing the discussion about the value of purging for just a moment.

Has anyone else noticed purge, at least in 2017.2*, doesn't like getting rid of families, only types?

I can check my build number, but it's purging families okay here...

I have the same build as you and I've noticed the checkbox for families is not showing up, but if you click in the space where it should be, it still acts like it's checking something (The types of the family all get checked). I know at least one other team member in the same models has said his purge dialog looked correct, but I'm not sure what build he has or why it would be any different than mine.

Yeah this is what I'm seeing (or not seeing to be more accurate).

Just today I was manually cleaning up wall types from the project browser. Revit 2017.2.1. Some of them wouldn't let me delete even though i knew for a fact that there were no instances in the model. Giving me the warning "cant delete last system type" even though there were dozens of other wall types already present in the model.
Ive also had a few worksharing issues where the central file becomes corrupted. Today i had a message saying fix central model from local user's file (which worked great btw). i never knew this existed, is it a new to 2017 feature?
