    ArchiCAD Publisher in Revit

    Hello,
I worked with ArchiCAD before using revit and one thing that I really miss is the publisher set in which you can define the group of sheets or views to publish and the configuration for exporting. Benefits:

    - Publish more than one group of views/sheets
    - Configure the ploting exporting properties for each view/sheet
    · Differents resolutions
    · Differents plotting systems dwg, pdf, print to plotter, etc
    · Differents sheet sizes at the same print

    - Set the folder where each file be safed
    - Creation of the structure of the folders with all the published documents in the folder choosen
    - Batch Rendering as you can publish the views in jpg with its own configuration

In conclusion the ability to publish all the sheets just in one click no matter its plotting configuration is different.

I have tryed the new Batch printing but I cannot find the difference between this plugin and the classic way to print in pdf as it is not allowed to choose a different configuration for each group of documents.

Let's suppose I need to print pdf A3, pdf A4, jpg A3, jpg A4, dwg A3 dwg A4 in 3 separated folders in 5 separated files. I must do it separated one by one each time.

There is an add-in called Xrev Transmit. It does basically what you are asking. Oh...and it was created by a former ArchiCAD user too.

It does not do what I am looking for because the configurations of the print has to be done each time you print.

The objective is not to say the printer the configuration each time instead program it one time and each time you want to print this files just clic one button because the programming has already been done.

I am trying Archi-Lab nodes from dynamo as they make pdf printing programming posible but I am getting stucked when Adobe ask for the folder.

          Thank you all

It should let you save the configuration. The only time you have to modify it is when you add/remove sheets.

As for the Adobe issue, edit the printer preferences and designate a PDF Output folder instead of "Prompt for Adobe PDF Filename".

Not sure what you are doing then, but when I print multiple sizes I just have to click which ones I want to print and press print and they all end up in a specific folder on my computer with sub folders for project number-name, date and either PDF, jpg or dwg, no need to tell it every time where I want the files to go. The program gets the paper size from the revit sheet and just makes a pdf in that size, or do them scale to fit. I have multiple setups for multiple purposes. 1 to print every sheet 1:1 to a PDF, 1 that makes scale to fit paper drawing on A3 size, 1 that makes A3 multy sheet PDF, 1 that makes jpg and one that makes dwg (either 2013 or 2007 for the ones using ancient software).
