No such thing as "explode" for fundamental elements in Revit....except to export to dwg/dgn/dxf. Revit's perspective is a wall "exploded" isn't a wall and therefore "useless" as one. The export process will give you lines if lines are what you were really after.Last edited by Steve_Stafford; August 27, 2011, 03:54 AM.

Ahmed,
Put a yellow sticker note on your monitor saying: "I will never, ever explode a cad drawing in Revit" This will save you a whole lot of grief further down the track.

simply like this picture you can use pick line to create wall tool with thickness 0.05 so now i do not need to offset or trim because wall tool will do the task this is just as example what if i have complex ornamental i think the revit is quite missing some features never ever explode for example is one of missing feature to use or not recommended i do not like to work on line tools a lot i love working on massing and here by offset and trim remind me with old fashion autocad no matter i should listen to you advices because you are expert more than me and if i do not like that as all of you said maybe i shall back to any programme i love and wait for revit 2013 make magic change
