workflow in revit for solid hatches with patterns...

    Hello Reviter,

Is there any practile workflow to create a solid/pattern hatch in revit?
Is there a way not to draw hatches(transparant) and to see the pattern at the same time?

Or Have I to put hatches by hand?

Well you can not do a solid hatch that has an embeded hatch within that no..

what it seems you want is a solid hatch (half tone grey & transparent) with the 45 degree hatch also?

You are actually asking for 2 hatches and no this you can not do by material (only 1 hatch allowed)

the wish is to use filters, so that the wall is by category, and the hatch (new, past, clash,...) is f.e. Grey...

To have filter to maintain the categories properties and overlay(transparent) with a hatch -> the otpoic with via one click!

Not currently....but the idea of it happening was accepted

So we could see it in the future.

the only way I can see you achieving this with current revit mechanics, is to use two overlaid views on your presentation.
