Hello,
I am working on multistory building with repetitive typical floor. When I try to copy dimensions from one typical floor to the next half of them loose reference. I am certain that the references are exactly in the same place because they are repetitive model group as well. I placed the dimensions in a detail group but when I apply it the same half of them disappear. I cannot explain it as Revit allows me to group the dimensions but they loose reference when I apply them to the model group instances ?!
One other question I have is does it make sense to add small model line segments to model groups as references for dimensions in an attached detail group. Example: "windows model group" with attached "structural openings detail group" and model line segments in the model group to serve as references for wall ends (walls are not part of the model group). I don't know if this is a good practice but I would like to apply detail groups with references outside of the model group.
Thank you for your help- advice!
