Revit Grid Lines With Grid # in Linetype

Good Afternoon,

Can anyone help me? I am trying to find a way to get a grid line linetype/ pattern that will read the grid number and space it across the line. For Example Grid line 1 would have the bubble and the label on the line
(1)--------- 1 ------------ 1 ------------ 1 -------

I have seen this appear on Arch pdfs, but I'm pretty sure they are CAD overlays, but I was wondering if there was a way to program this into Revit.

That's a long-time Wish List item. Also useful for lots of Civil-related lines like Utilities.
Ditto for HVAC or Piping one-lines.
The only way to do it in Revit now is to create a Line-based family.
