Hey guys, just a funny question...
Is there any other person who works for someone that does not have any clue how Revit works?
I work in an office where they actually believe that Revit works allmost like autocad and the only different thing about these 2 programs is that revit could give you a section wherever you want it.... ready for presentation in just 2 clicks!!
The boss was working on autocad for centuries and he one day said to me i will have to work on Revit... so many months past but the only thing he could do in Revit is open the Program and navigate his self in the 3d...
All the commentaries i receive are :
1. Just make a family (believing that i would draw for lines like in autocad lets say for a door and click group, and finally or better magicaly this will appear in every schedule, or with the right line weights and materials bla bla bla...)
2. Come on why is this taking so long... your colleague has a better tempo that you... he compaires me with the rest that work only on autocad, as i am the only one that works on revit.
3. Why do you use annotations and why do you draw 2d sometimes... its a 3d programm make everything in 3d (He means even screws of a window and the smallest details...)
4. Why some dimensions are gone from the view port... they used to be there... ( after he decides to ask em to delete walls or change level heights, or even move the whole building or half of the building in the planed area..). He doesnt get that you can so eazly move a building in Revit, without errors ....
5. When i dont use annotation he goes (come one the line weights its terrible!!!!)
I hoppe i am not the only one out there!!!! hahahah
I am frustrated!!!!!
