    Walls Disappear in PDF

    Hello all
we have an issue in our firm we can't find any solution for it, we hope that we find it here

we draw two separate walls one for brick and one for the internal/external finish (check the screen shot below)

after we print PDF for any views that contains the above mentioned walls, some of the finish wall disappear in the PDF (check the screen shot below), we have no idea why this happen.
we find a solution but we can't apply it on a large scale project
we use show hidden line by element option that help us in this issue as I mentioned we can't use it in a large scale project

I hope we find the solution here

it is working fine with raster but we can't print the drawings with pixels due to the quality control recommendation

I'll give it a try but I forgot to say something that ,if we export cad this problem occurs also so I think that the problem not with the PDF printer

the problem is therefore not printing in raster ... I'm not sure how you work around that you can't print in raster, because it is often a problem that certain elements don't print using vector processing...

If you are just printing, try exporting to CAD first then print from CAD to PDF....annoying as hell but I see no other way.

There may (long-term, anyway) be hope after all.
If you haven't read the Autodesk Revit Roadmap, head on over and check it out!

We’re still looking forward to extending the Forge platform by adding PDF printing to the Model Derivative API and by extending the Design Automation API to work with Revit.

I tried that once...and was lost for a week
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

                    Possible solution

I'm guessing that if you haven't figured it out already, it might be too late but... Have you looked at your floors? I've had the same issue and I hid my floor from view and the lines came back.

Here's the annoying part. I haven't figured out why or what the correct solution is for this. Every go around I've used brings up other issues.

Hope this helps, sorry it's so late.
