    Left handside panel is missing!!

I'm very new to revit so I don't know very much about it but on the left handside there is usually a panel telling you the details of what you're about to use and what not. No idea how to get it back. Can someone help me?

Click anything....right click and select Properties. Or you can click the View Tab...select the User Interface Panel button and click Properties.

or type PP (standard Revit keyboard shortcut for the Properties palette)

          LOL! yessir, I'm a PP expert ;-P

to the OP, in case you didn't know you can combine your Project Browser and Properties palette like this

or, you can have them one on top of the other like this

personally I keep mine separate on a 2nd monitor but if I was using a single monitor I'd definitely do the combo switch back and forth option
