Wall Reveal - Align by Centerline

We are having the hardest time trying to align a wall reveal (both horizontal and vertical) with a reference plane. Using the Align tool, it recognizes the center of the reveal when hovering, but choosing it does nothing. Is there any way around this? It would be nice to align and lock to reference planes to have a lot more control over them.

Use Families instead of Reveals. Then you can align however you want, show symbolic centerlines, etc.

How do you handle miters, and angled-otherwise turns? Angle-end cutting elective by-instance voids per end?

      And curves?

I'm fundamentally a CWP obsessive, but a new project looms where basic walls with sweeps & reveals finally return as viable and I need to consider covering all possibilities.

I guess i dont understand your question, as it pertains to the differences between families and reveals.

Families can do all of the things you mentioned, through parametric options in the families: Angles? Yup. Optional void contacts at different corners? Yep. Curves? Yep (with a different family). Cant do those (easily) with voids.

I smack the everlovingshit out of people who do that stuff with the CW tools, when i have to work with them. But im glad it works for you and keeps you happy.
