    Creating a Wokset

I'm setting up a project since I don't have a Revit model from the other trades yet, I linked the CAD file
just so I can start working. For some reason I'm not being able to set up this job as a worksharing.
Is it because I only have CAD file linked to this project CAD grid ? Any suggestions.

As long as you're not using Revit LT there's no reason, just go to the collaborate tab...Need more specific info on what you're actually doing.

Save the project and click the Collaborate button...

Have you created your worksets already? If not, go at the bottom of the screen where you see that wrench/spanner next to two cuboids. Click there and tell us what you see. You should be able to create worksets, which then will enable you to save your file as Central: Save as-> Option-> Make this file Central after save.

Assuming Revit 2017, my guess is that the button to the left of the Worksets button is missing on your computer too. Something I did on mine has suppressed its display. I can't remember the name of it, i think it's just called Collaborate where you choose to either collaborate in the cloud or designate a filebased server. My computer's kicking out a couple hundred pdf's atm, but I'm hoping/betting if you tried customizing the quick access toolbar, you'd be able to find the original command.
