detail view and project base point

Has anyone come across this? I've detail bubbled an area on a plan, and have embellished the detail with linework.

The project view point causes these detail views on a sheet to have enormous crop regions.

They've been turned off - just wondering what the logic is of allowing project base point to be viewed, but not the rest of the plan?

Ha! Elton that was exactly what was in my post that I deleted since the OP says that they are already turned off. Maybe I misunderstood what I misunderstood??

        hi Elton,

They were turned off, and the viewports are the size of the detail. Just wondering why the crop doesn't crop project base point. Not really a big deal, just seems funny.

The OP does say they are turned off, but the image shows it turned on.

Pardon the confusion, I had a problem, solved it, but was still puzzled.

The image shows project base point, and the large view crops. I solved this issue of large view crops by turning off project base point.

            What are RP's?

Do you know why crop region includes project base point, but excludes the plan? Or is this just a strange happenstance?

not your fault, mine. I posted an answer here that was meant for another thread. Carry on

oh, and RPs are reference planes

not sure what you mean by 'excludes the plan'? On my iPad your picture looks fuzzy but still looks like section details? PBP and SP are 3D spatial elements, so visible in any non-drafting view and will show up unless you turn them off.
