Is there any free Revit viewer ?

Is there any free Revit viewer for download?

    #2
yes take a look of this Download Design Review | DWF Viewer | Autodesk

A current version of Autodesk Design Review 2014 and 2015 does not exist - the most current version is still the 2013 version.

The DWF and DWFx file format has not changed in the last releases - due to this fact, the 2013 version of Design Review still offers full functionality of measure and markup.

Design Review 2013 can also open DWF and DWFx files that have been created from other 2014 and 2015 Autodesk products.

This is a list of ideas andpossibilities. Review to see which one best meets your needs.
      · Use the free online A360 Viewer
      · Download the free DesignReview 2013 and export the Revit model as a DWF.
      · Use the Revit viewer mode. This isexplained in the article: Howto use Revit Viewer Mode
      · If you have Navisworks, you can open theRevit file in Navisworks, then save as an NWD file. That NWD file canthen be viewed in the Free Navisworks Freedom viewer.
      · If you are using A360Team, you can invite others to the project and they canpreview the 3D model there.
      · If you export the Revit 3D view to an AutoCADDWG file (and likely best as ACIS solids), that file can be viewed in AutoCADor AutoCAD360
      · Check for Revit Viewers at the Autodesk RevitApp Store
      · Subscribeto Revit or try it free for 30 days
      · Subscribe to Revit LT
      · Try Revit LT free for 30days

Hey, I thought the free Revit viewer was basically the Revit trial; when it expires it can continue to be used as a free Revit viewer.

Of course it doesn't save any changes, otherwise you're looking for a free Revit EDITOR, which doesn't exist .

When you install Revit, it creates a Revit XXXX on the desktop. If you look under your All Programs list (if Win 7) under Autodesk --> Revit 2017 for example you will have a link for Revit 2017 and Revit Viewer 2017.

Of course printing, saving and exporting is disabled with the installed Revit Viewer. But the nice thing is it doesn't require a license. Lots of people miss that it is installed because it isn't on their desktop.

You can print if you don't change anything in the model.

Just wondering... could you use Dynamo to extract (And change?) information with Revit Viewer?
