I am trying to model a body of water that is a pond or small man-made lake. I have regraded the topography now I need to fill the void. anyone have a suggestion?

Why not just use a thick floor (or model in place box) set to the correct elevation? It can just overlap the topo as the water would only show where the elevation works out.Rob Pivovarnick, AIA

I use a thin Floor not thick, so it shows up as just the water line. Never needed to show anything filling the pond, just the height of the water.Scott D. Brown, AIA | Senior Project Manager | Beck Group

Lauren Schmidt over at landarchBIM has a good primer on doing it with Dynamo, if you need more than just an approximation as you get with a thin surface layer.
