    Revit to navis (nwc)

I have a 3D Model ready to fabricate. Is it possible to nwc out that model with the annotation and dimensions?
So when we load the NWD into our data vault for the shop guy start fabricating, he will be able to see the dimensions. Right now we dimension inside
Navis after we Nwc out from Revit.

I've moved your thread to here (the Coordination Tools subforum, where most Navis chats happen)

Unless your .rvt model uses 3D dimensioning, then no, not OOTB.

The "designed" Navisworks workflow is that you append .dwgs to your .nwf model workspace, and issue that (as an .nwd) - so maybe that would suit your needs?

But I'm a little unclear on your "Right now we dimension inside Navis" comment... as markup? Or actual dimensioning?

Apparently Navisworks supports 2d. 14 things you’ll be shocked you never knew about Autodesk Navisworks! - Beyond Design: the Construction and BIM blog

Locking a 3d view might work for this, although it would be a painful workflow. I've done some assemblies for busway like this using a center lines in course view planing dimensions and switching to fine view for the 3d and sheet printing. I'm not sure if that nwc exporters support the 2d though you might have another workflow issue there to deal with.
