    See through furniture?

    Hi all,

This is a problem I have had for a while now. The chair is from the inbuilt Revit Library and the desk is a simple extrusion family I made. The problem is the chair shows up when placed under the desk as if the view is set to wire frame (see picture), I have checked with other chair types and none of them do it and the levels are all correct, any ideas what it is about this chair that makes it visible under the desk?

    Thanks

I suppose the chair in the plan view is displayed as a masking region, not a 3d object, that's why it ignores the geometry of the desk. If you're familiar with it, edit the family: delete masking regions and detail lines, and swith the visibility of the 3d masses to be visible in plan view.

    Or download better chair family
