I'm not quite sure how to articulate my question in a short paragraph but hopefully someone will understand what I am trying to ask...
I want to create a model of a chair and attach information about this chair to the model so that it will auto-populate on a schedule...is there a way to have selectable options associated with the same model chair? For instance, we have a chair that comes in different finish options but the physical shape of the chair does not change, so aside from the colors changing, the model does not change. We want to be able to use the same model but have the correct finish information and the correct ordering number show up on our schedule which changes based on the finishes selected. Would I be able to build one chair model and have the ability to alter the finishes (thus altering the ordering number that shows up on the schedule) or would I have to copy the chair model and enter separate data for each finish option available?
Hopefully this question makes sense.
