    Multiple overlapping Callouts

Anyone have a good workaround for the case where you have several Sections/Callouts in the same place?
I'm talking about, for example, a Sill/Jamb/Head condition.
We want to make three Section Cuts in Plan, with the three corresponding Section Heads right next to each other.
It is almost possible, but there's a lot of fussing with the Cut Lines or, in the case of Callouts, it's almost impossible to get the dashed outlines to line up properly.
We ended up using dumb Tags for the second and third

Can you use a View Reference that looks like a Callout Head for the second and third? The tag's not quite so dumb that way...

There is a way you can cut the section line in 2 parts and extend them the long you want.

So giving the longest line the whole lenght and the others no lenght you can get the graphic viewing you want. Follow the process:

I hope this works for you.

for plan callouts with multiple instances I create the plan callout, turn it off, then create a plan callout using Ref Other View and copy/paste several on top of each other with Paste aligned to the same place then change the view references as required. Not ideal but better than dumb tags IMO. Sort of the same with section callouts but I leave the original, create a new with Ref Other View and turn off its tail and copy it in line with the original
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!
