This text editor feature should be considered a bug

2017 added this menu after pressing esc from a text element. This drives me up a wall.

    Drives you nuts how?
Note the Title on that dialog box: "Cancel Editing Text"
Pre-2017, pressing Escape used to blow you out of the Text command and throw away what you had typed or changed.
Now at least it warns you that you're going to lose something.
You're saying you'd rather have it lose your work without asking?

Clicking outside the Text Box has been the proper way to finish editing text since Revit 1.0

Usually if I start making a no leader line and I meant to start a two segment I would just cancel and start the command over. Sometimes I'll also start one a realize before typing that I want a different spot. Now I have to press two buttons. I guess I never blew away an edit with esc that often for me to find it aggravating.

Yes, for me the problem with this dialog isn't that I want to click Yes or No, its that I know (well at least I use to know) that hitting escape would cancel. So now when I expect to cancel, just by hitting escape, I get this annoying dialog. Time to retrain that muscle memory. Although a basic ini setting would have been simpler.
