    Viewrange in detailviews...

    Hello,

    I start to make details in Revit. I have some questions regarding the workflow:

    Is it realy true that i am unable to change the viewrange in a detailview?(!)

    In a railing I can't see the Coloms in a floorplan? Can I wheel the visibility via Catagories?
    OK???

    How can I manage this?

    The detail view, view range, is managed the same way as a plan view. So yes you can manage the view range in your view properties

      I would like to have the possibility to change the sectionlevel like in flooplans - but i don't have the menu for that, the typproperties are different

        That detailview is actually a section and they don't have any relation to levels and such. You should currently be able to see indefinitely far. If you want to see a fixed distance ahead choose clip with line/no line in the "far clipping" option.
