    Agreed, as a general concept. Maybe its just that (the few times ive paid attention) ive never seen creating a new object thats a copy of an old one, generate a lower Element ID.

    But i could be wrong. Wouldnt be the first time. =)

    that was my first thought too. What I realized I could do also was go to a view that had the floors tagged and delete one, if the tag disappeared, then that was the wrong floor

    How to tell what object is newer then another?

    I'm finding people keep accidentally adding our floor slab into a group that repeats on every floor. when I find this I remove it from the group, so then there are multiple floors on top of each other. is there anyway to determine which is the original so I don't loose tags when I delete the copies?
