I'm finding people keep accidentally adding our floor slab into a group that repeats on every floor. when I find this I remove it from the group, so then there are multiple floors on top of each other. is there anyway to determine which is the original so I don't loose tags when I delete the copies?

that was my first thought too. What I realized I could do also was go to a view that had the floors tagged and delete one, if the tag disappeared, then that was the wrong floorScott D. Brown, AIA | Senior Project Manager | Beck Group

In case you run into that situation again...
If it's possible, I try to edit the element within the group first (to make it obvious - offset 4' from level, for example), close the group, then re-edit the group and remove the problem object. Now you can filter for objects that match what you just changed.Chris Ellersick
