3D element inside family as a part of sub category (On/Off)

    Hi everyone
I’m new on this forum and new in Revit so please be patient (maybe I should have some P sign with “New Revit driver” text)
    Problem or question
When creating door family I can easily use symbolic lines and then group them under “sub category”-easy to manage with visibility graphics
Could it be possible to do something similar with 3d object in my family?
I have a crane on the top of my roof. To see working radios of this crane I created 3d extrusion element going all way up. The problem is I can’t switch it on or off (that radius) for different views (sections, 3d, floor plan)
On/off parameter is very good but once switched on is on everywhere.
Please could you help me with this problem?
    Kind Regards
    Christopher

Sub categories work with geometry too. Create new sub categories in object styles dialogue. Then assign in properties window and you can control visiblity in the project visibilty graphics.

Could you set a visibility parameter specific to each thing you want (on/off)? Elton's answer is probably the way to go but if you only have 2 or 3 elements, say in a future family model you create, that might be a path forward.

Hi there rbcameron1 wherever you are
In my case adding “on” or “off” was not an option
          Too many view templates.
Thanks a lot for your answer and have a lovely day
