    Helical Stair Issue

I am trying to draw our helical stair in Revit, the top and bottom riser overlap which is causing problems when drawing the stair in sketch. Basically it wont let them overlap. Is there anyway to make this work.

I also have a second issue when drawing this stair, in 3d there is a funny junction at the landing. Hopefully you can make them out in the image below. In plan these 2 lines do not exist.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

yes I've had a similar issue with stairs at odd angles on the risers doing odd behaviors.

In your image as I can see here though, I think your problem is the stair thickness, I can see that your stair thickness would be negative at the points where it breaks as revit can not resolve this it seems to be breaking your stair up.

My first suggestion is to try adjusting the throat thickness of the stair by 25 to 50mm to see if this removes the problem.

Thank you for the suggestion, that was exactly it, I have changed the profile thickness and problem solved. Thank you
