    IFC4 export options

Hi, i want to export data using IFC. Revit is IFC4 compatible for some time now according to some documents.
How is it that i can't see this in the export options list. In release 2016 this is exactly the same as 2014 and 2015

What is the 'version 4' part in it? Any experience that 2016 gives better ifc output than 2014?

Download and use the "Alternate UI" (produces by Autodesk) downloadable from the App Store:

It replaces the OOTB one: IFC updates are controlled with this, instead of with Revit updates

I downloaded it and noticed the export options are very different now.
However, if i exported a model containing rebar as ifc with a view different setting and somehow the rebar element are not coming through in the ifc textfile as result. What options control this? thanks.

Is "Structural Rebar" is actually getting exported in your IFC Settings?:
