    Navisworks - Saved Viewports Wireframe

    Hi,

I've created clash tests and saved the viewpoints which show the clashes in 2 different colours. This is fantastic for isolating where the clash is.

However now that Navisworks has zoomed me into the clash, I'd like to change it back to solid 3D objects with the appearance modifications I've set up so I can take a real look at it.

Is there a way to do this?

Just click on the "Select" tab to the left of "Results" and go back and forth. That's how I do it, anyways.

tzframpton thanks for the reply. It isn't in Navisworks Manage where I am having the issue. It's once I use the write report function in the NWF file and save the file as an NWD file.

The users then open it in Navisworks Freedom, and soon as they click the viewpoint it goes into wireframe mode with clashes showing 2 different colours. Then we can't switch it back.

Ah, I see. Hmm, I don't use the viewer at all since I have Manage so I'd have to spend some time to investigate.

Post the NWD with the clash results and ill be happy to take a peek, as i have both versions installed here. But i dont have an NWD (with clash results Viewpoints saved in it) handy.

Got it. So, go in to one of your Saved Class Views, and then:

              1. In the Selection Tree, grab the entire item called Level 00.nwd
              2. Right click on it
              3. Reset Item > Reset Appearance

Then youll be back at the normal display of the model, in the clash views vantage point.
