    Organize Project Browser

    Hello,

I am trying to organize my Project Browser with a hierarchy for all views. Unfortunately I don't know very well to define project parameters so any help is welcome.I had already created:
    -Views(all)
    -Floor Plans
    01-Floor plan
    02-Floor plan etc.
    -Ceiling Plans
    01-Ceiling Plan
    02-Ceiling Plan etc.
    -3D Views
    -Elevations

Now I want to add some additional categories like:
-Start Page (Before the floor plans)
    -Structural Plans

I have seen a lot of videos but I cannot still understand how I can create a category (e.g. Start Page) before another category.
Can someone to explain me how I can do this?

    Thanks in advance!

Here is how we sort our project browser

the sub discipline can have any value type in to create a section in the project browser as can the view classification

would you mind posting a screen shot of your Filtering and Grouping and Sorting tabs from the Browser Organization Properties dialog?

Edit: while I figured out the sorting required others in the future may benefit from the screenshots of your BO Props dialog...

I think this is what you are asking for no filters

the one we use 99% of the time is the one that is highlighted

Manage tab, Project Parameters, Add. The parameter names can be anything that is descriptive for you. They should be created at Text type Instance parameters associated with Views.

Do you know how I can add a category only under the floor plans, without it affects all my other families (elevations, sections etc.)?

Add an instance parameter as I noted above and fill it in for floor plan views but not for other views. The sorting should ignore the non valued views
