    Cylender House

    Hello there
I am building af house in the form of a cylender. But I cannot seem to make Revit make curved windows. Anyone who knows how this would be done? Or that can lead me in the right direction? See drawn picture for model.

First off, Welcome to the forum!

I predict you will get a fair few "Mass + CurtainWall-by Face" responses - but from the sketch alone I predict you're not going to be happy with how curtain mullions segment on curved services (you'll get 'bitty' junctions, which is technically fine in the wider context of BIM, but not ideal for viz.) - and would suggest custom components - since it looks like a fairly small, and already-considered design.

Question is, how familiar are you with the family editor?

      Thank you very much

I am not too familiar with family editor, but luckely I have friends at my study who are. I was wondering if there was anyway to do it without custom components, but doesn't seem like there is anyway around it

      Cheers

Practice makes perfect (with regards the family editor) and you can always set things off in motion with out-of-the-box stuff - until you're ready to work with the custom elements.

To explain what I mean by (mullion) join conditions - this is what 5min. gets you

I’d start with the sloped glazing roof by extrusion. Custom curved curtain panels are not too difficult to create, especially if you have your roof radius set and don’t need to change it.
