I am trying to make specification for my wall types. The project i'm working on is not too big , but still there are plenty of wall types and finishes.
I enclose the picture describing the situation, where i got three types of screed, and two types of tiles. I tried to create some main wall types, like load bearing concrete walls with different thicknesses, also gypsum board wall with different core thickness. Beside this i created all my finishes like different types of screed and tiles as separate walls.
After i have modeled all the structure, i have applied the finishes, by modeling the finish wall and aligning it to a main wall (also joining them together).
1. The main problem arises when i have to annotate and tag these walls. The tag snaps only to a specific type of wall with a unique type mark.
2. The door cuts only the host wall, where it is placed in. So in some cases i got a jamb which wraps incorrect.
3. When placing two walls in a legend i cannot align one to another, also i cannot put dimensions.
So what is the best way to deal with this problem?
