Can anyone speak to why my wall based light fixtures are embedding themselves partially in the wall? I've tried adjusting where the core boundary of the wall is and whether or not the furring is a substrate or core material to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated as always.

Open the family, pick on the wall, edit the walls thickness, you will see the fail. Like the previous poster the most likely answer is the geometery is not constrained to a ref. plane that is locked to face of the wall, so it is staying put but your thicker wall is "eating it"Scott D.
